The BB LEDlightpipe will be presented at the cradle to cradle pavilion of Biennale Architettura 2016.
This year the 15th Biennale Architettura, themed ‘Reporting from the front’, takes place in Venice from May 28th to November 27th 2016. The Biennale Architettura was founded in 1895 and it is one of the most famous and prestigious cultural organizations in the world. It stands at the forefront of research and promotion of new contemporary trends and organizes exhibitions in all different art forms. The last edition of the Biennale Architettura, ‘Fundamentals’, attracted 228,000 visitors.
For the first time, EPEA and its CEO Prof. Michael Braungart will present the Cradle to Cradle principle at the Biennale Architettura. He has been invited by the director Alejandro Aravena, a multiple award-winning Chilean architect, to present the Cradle to Cradle design concept in the exhibition rooms in the Central Pavilion.
Our BB LEDlightpipe will be displayed at this cradle to cradle pavilion in exhibition room K2. Our Managing director, Jan Baartmans, has visited this exhibition for a preview on 27th May. He was very impressed by the atmosphere and ambience of the pavilion.
